Mountain Robbins Art Studio
For us this annual event continues to be one of the country's most inspirational gatherings of talent and innovation in the world of adornment and jewelry making. It offers hundreds of classes, exposure to a plethora of new ideas and techniques, infectious enthusiasm and excitement and a world class bead and jewelry MARKETPLACE to gather and buy new supplies! What more could one ask for? Come by and see us if you plan to attend the show. We are booth #1228.
Hope to see you there.... Wayne & Judie

Does this thing have a beginning or an end?
Gee...I guess it is pretty BIG!
Oh but see how good it looks with the Yuccas!
This is a high cube which means it is 9'6" tall instead of the standard 8'6". We can have tall visitors but need to watch out for low hanging trees and wires! And they painted the inside as well as the outside...how awesome is that!
Oh look...we have a locking man door half way down. Very cool!
So lets make a toast to whatever comes next!
Cheers baby!.......We're in this together!
We love you all!.........Thanks for keeping tabs on us!
Two new bronze pieces right out of the kiln.
You just can't beat the colors that come out of the kiln! I love it that I have no control over what happens in the magic firing box......It's always a surprise. Will post more as they come out.

75 foot Cypress Tree crashed through our son's family home.
Oldest boy's bed was on the other side of this wall!
Youngest boy's bed.
Oldest boy's bed was at end of this dark tunnel...(photo shot from inside)
We've had a tragedy...............On Saturday morning, March 5th, a 75-foot Cypress tree crashed through the roof of our two young grandsons' bedroom, destroying the room and its contents. With three people in the house at the time, it was miraculous that NO ONE WAS PHYSICALLY HARMED. Our guardian angel was on high alert that day!
Now two weeks down the line, the tree has been removed, the damage assessed, and the sad news has been delivered: the house has been condemned and will be torn down. Our grandsons and their parents have temporary living arrangements, but need to find a new home.
How does this affect Wayne and I? We live and work on the same property. To accommodate any future new construction, we have been asked to vacate. So, we too, are loosing our home and as self-employed, working artists, we are also losing our business facilities.
Wayne and I have been here for over 30 years. We are part of the Santa Cruz Community and want to stay here, but we need help relocating. Can you help us find a place to live and work? We are creative, resourceful, innovative, hardworking, adaptive, and low maintenance. Alternative and non-traditional live/work situations suit us. You can contact us at: email@example.com
My sister SueSue has created a "Gofundme" account for our son's family. Click link to check it out.
I will post up-dates on facebook and our blog as time goes on.
Here are some last minute photos I managed to get out of Wayne and Chris before they left for the Scottsdale Museum Show. Of course they were madly working to the very last minute and the photos were not at the top of their list. They promised to take some once they get the show set up. I will post them when I get them.
I don't know if this one is going to the show or if they were just fooling around but it looks to me like this bird is getting ready to go to the opera!
Spears in the making. They turned out nice.....I hope to get a photo of them displayed at the show.
Frog on crutches?
Sorry this is so out of focus......I will get a better photo and post it. This poor bird looks a little apprehensive..........possibly he's wondering what will be next!
Vases and some bottom sections for the sculptures.
