Tubac, Arizona....annual Art Show

This annual show is held in Arizona's historic town of Tubac where you might find a sheriff on horseback or a team of horses pulling a wagon full of mid-westerners wearing shorts and flip-flops in the middle of winter. Three artist collaboration...

The piece shown in this post is a three person collaboration. Kim Van Antwerp did the needle felting and the wire work nest. Wayne Robbins created the glass eyeballs and beaks and the copper leaves. Judie Mountain designed and assembled the necklace and created some of the metal leaves. Come see this piece in person at Open Studio, Oct. 3-4 and Oct. 17-18.
